Fullmetal Alchemist the Revenge of Scar Recap
The Portal of Truth, also known as the Gate of Alchemy or simply the Gate, is a metaphysical gateway that serves as the entrance to the kingdom of God and is also the source of all alchemical knowledge. It may seem ordinary when closed, but it is access to the information dimension that is beyond human comprehension.
This dimension of information usually manifests as a formless void where a metaphysical being called truth confronts anyone who attempts to commit the sin of human transmutation. After the confrontation, the Portal of Truth draws the sinner into itself, after which all knowledge of the world and alchemy is revealed until the person collapses both mentally and physically.
After Gluttony accidentally devours Ling, Edward, and Envy, Alphonse threatens the homunculi to give him his brother back. Unfortunately, Gluttony can’t do that, although he would like to, and immediately falls into a deep sleep. Meanwhile, Ling, Edward, and Envy supposedly find themselves in Gluttony’s stomach. When Envy is harassed by Edward, who is desperate to learn how to return to the real world, the homunculi reveal that they are trapped forever and will eventually die there.
The Stomach of Gluttony is actually the Father’s attempt to replicate the Portal of Truth. Unfortunately, their experiment was unsuccessful and resulted in creating a void in a reality Edward, Ling, and Envy are now trapped in. Although the film ends without saying anything. and doesn’t tell us anything about their fate, the manga clearly states that the trio will eventually make it out alive. The father is the eldest homunculus who directly (and in some cases indirectly) created the rest of the homunculi by cleansing himself of all. the vices.
It was formed from the essence of the Eye of God mixed with some of Hohenheim’s blood. Being above human vices, the father becomes quite stoic and boring over time. His main goal is the search for perfection. he wants to be superior to mankind.
