Prime Video’s ‘LOTR’ prequel ‘The Rings of Power’ explores the moment Sauron rose to power. After defeating Morgoth, the elves believe the war is over and they can spend the rest of their days in peace. But evil forces lurk in the shadows, and men like Arondir have begun to see the signs. While most humans tend to flee danger, soldiers like Arondir have trained their entire lives to do so. Still, nothing can prepare them for what it is. come to, which puts her life in danger. Will Arondir survive the events of The Rings of Power? Here’s what you should know about him.
Is Arondir Dead?
Arondir is an elf, which means that its lifespan is much longer than that of a human, dwarf, or anything else. It also means that he is stronger and very adept at fighting and surviving in strange circumstances. His rapid healing and impressive immunity also make it easy for him, unlike other mortals for whom every injury and illness is a big deal. Still, danger looms over him, just like every other character in Rings of Power, and there are some things that make us doubt he can survive the ending.
Elves may be immortal, but that doesn’t make them immortal. Many elves died in the wars with Morgoth and later Sauron. This means that war is a very bad prospect for them, which may be why they are so determined to avoid it. However much they ignore it, with the return of the orcs and the impending rise of Sauron in The Rings of Power, danger lurks in the shadows. And the path of Arondir is. It will only lead you deeper into the cave of danger.
There is no doubt that he will survive the events of the second episode where he is attacked by orcs. He is most likely being held captive and considering that the orcs have found their way to Tirharad, the elves will soon return to fight the evil. In the meantime, Arondir might find a way to escape the orcs on his own. However, the war is only just beginning and as one of the main characters, Arondir will be right in the middle of it. from that. Aside from the prospect of waging war against Sauron, there are other factors that could lead to Arondir’s death, the most important of which is his relationship with Bronwyn.
Being in love with a mortal has always led to some kind of compromise for an elf, especially giving up their immortality to be with the one they love. Due to the forbidden nature of the bond between him and Bronwyn, he may have to make that choice as well, and here it could pave the way for his death. There are many factors that can lead to an elf’s untimely death, and one of them is deep grief. It is unlikely that Arondir will give up his immortality while the war against Sauron continues.
It will give her a better chance of survival, but not Bronwyn. She’s only human and as fast as she could be given how she fought and killed the orc that came out. From the tunnel that opened into his home, there’s no guarantee he’ll survive another orc attack. It’s much easier to kill her, and if she dies, Bronwyn will be heartbroken, which could eventually kill him after all.
It is too early to judge Arondir’s fate, and we have yet to see where his journey will take him, but with the odds stacked in his favor, a sword hangs over his head, and so do we can only pray that if Sauron is defeated, Arondir will emerge unscathed.
