The Handmaid’s Tale Season 5 Episode 8 is one of the episodes that fans around the world are anticipating due to its popularity. with his daughter, as well as to heal the emotional wounds caused by his time in captivity. Based on Margaret Atwood’s bestseller  The Handmaid’s Tale, the story takes place in a dystopian society that became totalitarian after the Second American Civil War. This world has fertile wives called “Handmaids” and they are forced to have children for their male commanders (called Commanders).

The story follows June Osborne, a maid assigned to Gilead Commander Fred Waterford’s household with Serena Joy, his wife, and key figures in the rise of Gilead. However, June defies the system of oppression and attempts to free herself and her other wives. The Handmaid’s Tale, created by Bruce Miller, was produced by Nina Fiore and John Herrera, Kim Todd and Joseph Boccia, and Lisa Clapperton. Since its debut, it has been a huge hit, winning numerous awards including the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Series and the Golden Globe Award for Best Television Series  Drama.

The Handmaid’s Tale, a reality series that has been around for five years, is highly anticipated. Season 5 aired on September 14  and everyone is eagerly waiting for the next episode. The Handmaid’s Tale Season 5 Episode 8 will air on October 26, 2022.

Golden Globe and Primetime Emmy Award winner Elisabeth Moss will return as June Osborne this season. Moss is best known for her roles as Peggy Olson on the AMC drama series Mad Men and Detective Robin Griffin on the BBC miniseries Top of the Lake. Moss has also appeared in such critically acclaimed films as “I Love” and “Invisible Man.” Yvonne Strahovski is best known for her role as CIA agent Sarah Walker in the NBC spy drama “Chuck” and “Hannah McKay,” from the Showtime drama Dexter Joy Waterford in Season 5 of The Handmaid’s Tale.

He has also appeared in films such as Manhattan Night and He’s Out There. Ann Dowd returns as the fearsome and brutal Aunt Lydia. Dowd is best known for her role as Patricia “Patti” Levin on the HBO series The Leftovers. Because of this role earned him a Primetime Emmy Award nomination. Dowd is also known for her role as Linda in the dramatic film. The role earned him critical acclaim and nominations from BAFTA, The Critics’ Choice Awards, and more.

Luke and June will continue to consider new ways to get to Gilead and get their daughter back before he marries her and embraces the Gilead way. She will have no protection in the detention center and could be attacked or killed at any time. Serena will seek June’s help, but now she is alone and without her son. The Wheelers could seek custody of Noah, but I doubt  Canadian authorities will allow a member of Gilead to take that baby in.

June has developed a strong bond with Serena and owes her life to her enemy, but somehow I can’t imagine her putting Serena’s dilemmas ahead of her own problems. Luke and June will continue to think of new ways to get to Gilead and get their daughter back before she marries the Gilead way. Serena has now burned all her ties with Gilead after freeing June and firing one of hers. She will have no protection in the detention center and could be attacked or killed at any time.

Serena will seek June’s help, but now she is alone and without her son. The Wheelers could seek custody of Noah, but I doubt  Canadian authorities will allow a member of Gilead to take care of this baby. He has a strong bond with Serena and owes his life to his enemy, but somehow I can’t see him putting Serena’s dilemmas ahead of his own problems. June wants Hannah back, Serena will always be in the thoughts in that regard.

The Handmaid’s Tale Season 5 Episode 7 Recap

Flashbacks interspersed in this episode show an innocent June who was taken in as a servant by the Waterford family. At this point, she has no idea that she would enter hell. In the present, Serena names her son Noah. She also grooms him while the couple is talking. June admits that she didn’t seem to want to kill Serena.

Of course, we forget the whole subplot earlier this season when June literally picked up a gun to try and kill Serena and stopped at the last second. Anyway, I digress. Serena realizes she has nothing left and cannot turn back. to Canada, since he gave up his rights and also did not want to go to Gilead. Instead, Serena decides to give up her son for June to raise him and make him a better man than Fred. Serena believes that this is God’s will and that June is an angel sent to her.

June accepts the offering, but before she leaves, she reflects on the fact that June was just a vessel for her. He decides to save Serena’s life for his son. Despite all of this,  June never said anything about Hannah. or Luke asking where they are, what was the point of that effort, right? June takes Serena to the hospital in Canada and calls Moira to inform her she’s safe. Serena thanks him for his help and takes his hand. , who appears to be putting water under the Bridge of their rivalry.

Luke is also in the waiting room.  He points out that he managed to get the USB back. They get all the answers from Hannah.  As for Luke, he is surprised that June is totally okay with Serena and calls the officers to have Serena taken away. June follows her and waits until she stopped. Luke has called the immigration team and is on his way to be taken to a detention center. Serena is also not allowed to leave with her son Noah and Luke watches from afar and cheerfully whispers “Justice” that Serena now knows what it’s like to be taken by your son.

In the UK, The Handmaid’s Tale Season 5 is coming to Channel 4, but no release date has been announced yet.
