Hello, The Good Doctor fans. We hope you thoroughly enjoyed what the Season 6 Episode 1 premiere showed you tonight. With Episode 1  finally making its debut, we’re back to give you some details on what to expect in the upcoming new Episode 2 of the current Season 6 of The Good Doctor when it airs next Monday 10th October 2022 arrives on TV.

The Good Doctor Season 6 Episode 2 Plot

First, ABC revealed that the writers decided to call this new episode 2 of The Good Doctor season 6 “Change of Perspective”. It looks like Episode 2 will feature some interesting, emotional, and dramatic scenes when some new first-year residents arrive. Audrey Lim returns to work and more. We’ll go ahead and start this spoiler session with Year One. the situation of the residents. Yes, it turns out the hospital will have some new faces in this episode in the form of a pair of first-year residents named Dr. Danica Powell and Dr. Daniel Perez. Shaun and Alex will apparently be in charge of supervising them. During their introduction to Shaun and Alex, we’ll see how Danica and Daniel make a very memorable first impression.

ABC’s official description of the arrival of the first graders is as follows: “On their first day as surgical assistants, Drs. Shaun Murphy and Dr. Alex Park introduced to the first years who will be mentoring them, Dr..Danica Powell and Dr.Daniel Pérez made a good first impression.

The second and final preview of this new episode 2 lets us know that Audrey Lim will have some new scenes at some point. Apparently, we’ll see Audrey return to work. However, things won’t be quite the same for her as she will deal with a new reality and the emotions that come with it. ABC’s description for this latest story from Dr. Audrey Lim reads: “Lim returns to work as she grapples with her new reality and the emotions surrounding the changes. 

The Good Doctor Season 6 Episode 1 Recap

Today’s episode of The Good Doctor starts with Aaron and Marcus in the elevator, they’re there with a guy who has blood on his shoes and around his neck. As they get out, security gets an alarm, but when they try to grab the guy, he gets stabbed and robbed. The officers hear the shots and start cumming, Alex shouts a silver code, they’re locked in. Everyone hears the silver code and begins to respond. They recognize the attacker, he’s Dalisay’s ex-boyfriend, and she won’t answer her phone. Morgan gets a call from Alex outside, she is with Asher and they find out there is an active shooter. Shaun receives a message that Audrey may be in danger, and tells Lea to go, Jordan follows, then Lea does too. Morgan and Asher are in the hallway and a guy is injured and is calling for help. They try to take him to a safer place. Shaun, Jordan, and Lea are the first to arrive.

Marcus and Aaron arrive and Marcus calls for carrying. Shaun says Audrey is dying, they must help her immediately. The stretchers have arrived and Marcus orders them taken to the OR immediately. Shaun tells Lea they can find the surgical tools they need to help. Lea puts on a bathrobe and starts crying, then she washes. Audrey is undergoing surgery, they severed her left ventricle. Aaron is called out of surgery, they need help with Dalisay who is also undergoing surgery. Elsewhere, Morgan and Asher are still being held with the guy now in more pain. Asher says he’ll get supplies in case they need to operate.

The shooter finds Asher in the hallway,  points his gun at him, and tells him not to move. After a while Morgan opens the door and finds a tray with supplies, Asher is gone. Shaun switches the call to Audrey, Aaron comes back and he’s not happy about it. The cops found the shooter and Asher starts shooting. They run back into the room  Morgan is in and he demands she open it or he shoots Asher. Morgan opens the door and the shooter now has three hostages. Shaun’s method works, he tells Aaron it was a sensible decision. Marcus receives a message about the fifth-floor hostage situation and knows it’s Morgan and Asher.

The shooter asks Morgan how Dalisay is, he loves her. Azer passes out, Asher tells the shooter he needs immediate surgery. Morgan gets permission to call Alex to help her with the surgery. Protect and tells him that if they operate here they will kill him. Dalisay and Audrey will be fine, so they only have him for attempted murder. But when this guy does it, it changes everything. He lets Morgan and Azer go, Answer has to stay with him. Audrey wakes up,  glad  Dalisay is okay. Aaron credits Shaun with saving his life. .Suddenly, Audrey has chest pains.

The shooter confides in Asher that his father beat up his mother and took her to the hospital a couple of times, he hated her heart. He spent his childhood saying he was different. Asher says his father is dying, he’s a few weeks old and it’s cancer. Put him on a plane back to New York, things will never work out between them, there’s not enough time. Asher tells him there’s still time for him. Asher tells him there are only two options, he turns himself in or he dies. The guy empties the chamber and hands it to Asher, who thanks him. The shooter opens the door, gets out, and wants to shoot. the officer with an empty gun, and the officers shoot him. Ansher has the shooter on a gurney and is taking him to the OR, he needs a bypass machine but there is only one for Audrey.

There is another, more difficult operation they can perform on Audrey, but Shaun objects to it. He doesn’t want Audrey to suffer if she hasn’t done anything wrong. Marcus and Aaron disagree, they must save them both if they can. During the surgery, Audrey is having a hard time and Shaun is freaking out, they need to get him out of the operating room. The hospital is safe and Code Silver again. The shooter, Dalisay and alive. Audrey still hasn’t woken up, Shaun tells Lea he wants to wait. She then tells him that she saw her brother Steve and told him, and he tells her it wasn’t her fault he died and that she’s trying to believe him. He says that tonight was very difficult and that if it wasn’t for her, he could have helped Audrey. As much as he loved her before, he loves her even more now. He says he feels married now.

Morgan leaves the hospital and sees Alex waiting for her, she runs into his arms. He says he thought he was going to die, he was thinking about himself, not about this job. He turned down the job. He says that when he decided to take the job, he put his career ahead of them. She had to put up with it, that’s just her. And it will not change. She says she has changed. He says for now. Audrey is awake with Shaun, Marcus, and Aaron with her and she jokes that she might need some private days. Then he says he can’t move his legs. Shaun says she’s paralyzed.

Was The Good Doctor taken off Netflix?

The Good Doctor is not available on Netflix in the US as its ABC channel is owned by Disney, which has a stake in Hulu.

Does Shaun become a surgical resident again?

To everyone’s surprise, Andrews chooses to use his power as president of the hospital to fire Han rather than accept his course of action, despite the damage it could do to his own career. Han is fired and replaced by Doctor Audrey Lim. as Chief of Surgery while Shaun is reinstated.
