From a bumpy flight to delayed luggage, Julie was living her worst nightmare. He exited the airport with the clothes he bought from a gift shop and got into a car that didn’t obey traffic rules. He was clinging to it for his life as the car accelerated and they finally reached Villa Romantica. It was right next to Juliet’s balcony and was the perfect spot for Julie to soak up the romance.

But when she entered the villa, she met a man who claimed to have booked the villa on the same dates as her. This was far from the vacation of his dreams. He complained about this to the owner Silvio, although Charlie thought it was no use. Having arrived first, he had claimed the bed, and Julie was offered a sofa to rest on until the owner resolved the issue. Turns out it was the owner’s girlfriend who ruined the reservation and the only solution was for the two to share the villa.

Charlie initially refused to share, but after seeing Julie cry about it, he changed his mind and agreed to share the stay. While Julie was settling down, her friend and the principal of the school she worked at advised her to get revenge on him. He instigated Julie to fight for her rights as the men in her life always broke her heart. She finally decided to give Charlie a reason to hate her.

It was his way of trying to get what he deserved. The war between Charlie and Julie got ugly over time and in the last few days, they decided to stop and enjoy the city. Although Julie’s trip to Verona wasn’t what she had hoped, it turned out to be much more.

Who is Charlie, and his relationship with Julie?

Charlie was a professional wine taster; I was in Verona for the sixth time. He always seemed like a down-to-earth man who didn’t mind the romantic cliché, but that he always stayed at the “Romantic Villa” told a different story. While Julie was a hopeless romantic, Charlie always analyzed every situation and managed her emotions. He blamed the fact that he was British and naturally resisted any expression of affection. He agreed to share Villa

with Julie, although he regretted his decision the next day. Julie was still reeling from a horrible breakup, and shoving Charlie out of the mansion seemed like her only option to seek justice from all the men who had treated her miserably. Though hesitant at first, he finally gave in to the idea of putting olives around Charlie’s bed to lure the cats. She knew Charlie was allergic to cats, a perfect reason for her to leave the place. Easily defeated. He declared war and told him to await his revenge. When a courier service was returning Julie’s luggage from the airport, he stopped the man and informed him that Julie was no longer living at the villa and had been taken to a mental institution to recover. He wanted his clothes to be distributed among the orphans. Julie was furious and planned another way to get back at Charlie.

She jammed the lock on the door and Silvio had to change the locks; Charlie didn’t have the keys to the lock. He tried to enter the apartment from the terrace but his hands slipped and he was left hanging for his life. Julie reported to police that a man had tried to break into her apartment and Charlie was arrested for the night. Upon his return, Charlie tore pages from Julie’s journal (where she poured out her heart about her breakup with Brandon) and pasted them to Juliet’s wall. Strangers read about Julie’s love life and were stunned by the event.

Charlie eventually agreed to a truce as the war took its toll on his professional life. His company was informed of his stint in the local jail and his clients were reluctant to deal with a criminal. To celebrate the end of the war, Charlie cooked dinner for Julie. Although Julie initially doubted his intentions, she fell in love with the cava pastissada that Charlie was cooking.

Since Julie was not fluent in Italian, Charlie explained that she used horse meat to make the tin plate. Julie was upset by the revelation and they started throwing food at each other. The heated argument led to police intervention and they were warned to behave better. Charlie later explained that the dish contained mushrooms and no horsemeat. They laughed about it and spent the night drinking wine and talking about their lives.

As they walked the streets of Verona, Charlie explained that he had always wanted a small vineyard in Tuscany, but he knew it would be a bad investment. Julie advised Charlie to follow her heart’s desire instead of thinking too much. She was an elementary school teacher and loved her job, which amused Charlie. Although they were different, there was a connection they could feel.

Julie taught Charlie not to suppress his emotional side. She knew he was a romantic and that brought him to the mansion. And because of Charlie, he had to abandon all his plans and spend his stay in Verona in an unusual, but fun way. Charlie was informed by a colleague that a hotel room was now available and he could move there, but he decided to spend the night at the villa.

After watching their relationship fall apart in, Charlie made the decision to care less as it seemed to her that whoever cared least had all the power in a relationship. Julie believed in the power of fate while Charlie preferred to choose her partner. The two attended the Vinitaly, an event Charlie was invited to. The vineyard’s owner, Ragazzi, was a brilliant winemaker but a lousy businessman, and Charlie’s company wanted to capitalize on it. They wanted to make a deal with the man, even though they paid a lot less for the quality of the wine. The Product you would receive.

Ragazzi guided Julie through the vineyard, expressing his passion for the craft passed down from generation to generation. Julie advised him to follow his heart and risk everything to save his legacy. Though her advice ruined Charlie’s business, she believed it was the right thing to do. Charlie agreed and the two danced together.

As they were about to kiss, Charlie stopped and said he couldn’t go on. He tried to explain himself, but Julie refused to know. Later, when they arrived at the mansion, they were greeted by Charlie’s fiancé, Cassie, who had decided to pay a surprise visit. They paused, but Cassie took it easy.

Julie left the villa and Charlie followed her, but she refused to listen to his explanation. She asked him never to contact her and left. Charlie and Cassie have moved into the hotel. The next morning, Brandon met Julie and flew to Verona to pick her up. He missed her in his life, or rather, the people around him missed Julie. He bragged about his fiancée and to get back at him, Julie did the same. Cassie and Brandon found themselves in an awkward position. Julie and Brandon returned to the mansion, and he proposed to her with a ring.

Meanwhile, Charlie broke his engagement with Cassie and rushed back to Julie. When she returned, she witnessed Brandon’s proposal and left. Julie didn’t accept Brandon’s proposal; They had no connection, and Julie believed her “craziness” didn’t match his. It was time for Julie and Charlie to leave Verona, but before they left he decided to make a wish at the wishing well.

He met Silvio there. He explained what had happened and Silvio reminded him that love finds a way. Charlie ran to the mansion and summoned Romeo while Julie was on the balcony.
