Successor to 1883 and prequel to Yellowstone, Taylor Sheridan’s Paramount+ western series 1923 follows Jacob Dutton,  brother of James Dutton, who founded Yellowstone Dutton Ranch.

Who is Elizabeth Strafford?

Elizabeth Strafford is the fiancee of Jack Dutton,  son of John Dutton Sr., and great-nephew of Jacob. The 1923 narrative begins with Elizabeth and Jack’s wedding on the horizon, only for Jacob to postpone while the family head to the mountains to feed the cattle.
