There are some familiar and new faces coming to the ranch in Season 5. Jacki Weaver also returns as the Duttons’ latest business nemesis, Market Equities CEO Caroline Warner, while Mo Brings Plenty and Wendy Moniz as Thomas are promoted to series regulars. Lainey Wilson will play a musician named Abby. Lilli Kai will play Clara Brewer, a new assistant to one of the Duttons (we already feel sorry for her). And 1883’s Dawn Olivieri joins the cast as Sarah Atwood, a newcomer from Montana and “corporate shark,” according to the character’s official description. Another new face appears in Season 5, and this time it’s a  girl who will be part of Carter’s sprawling story.

EW reports that Orli Gottesman will join the cast in a guest-starring role as Halie, a  confident young girl who is attracted to Carter. “In Season 5, Halie is the person who gives Carter the opportunity to come out of his shell and not only teach him about himself but that he always wants Halie to be around,” reads her character description. “Halie comes along and now there’s someone who fits that mold and is there for him.” The entire Bunkhouse will also return, including Forrie J. Smith, Denim Richards, Ian Bohen, Ryan Bingham, and Jen Landon as Teeter, who was promoted to series regular. Kathryn Kelly, who plays Jimmy’s fiancé Emily, has also been promoted to the series regular and will return as Jimmy along with Jefferson White. The fourth episode of Yellowstone’s fifth season, titled “Horses in the Sky,” presents its audience with a series of intriguing obstacles to overcome. The bar fight puts Beth in a very difficult situation and there is the one who caused it herself. She needs to figure out how to get out of this situation as quickly as possible. And it could affect John. This of course happens in the political arena. According to the synopsis, John makes some quick changes to the Capitol and Senator Perry gives him some advice. The animosity that has been building between Jamie and Beth has reached a breaking point. The most inexplicable aspect of Beth’s arrest is the fact that she follows closely in the footsteps of one of her most significant victories to date in the market equities conflict. And that now they would probably use his arrest to gain some advantage.

Who knows what Jamie will do too; Note that Sarah seems to do whatever it takes to influence him. Now Rip has to prepare for a big problem. Hailey Brewer, played by Ashley Platz, returns in this episode and adds to Beth’s problems. Whatever happens at the party, she decides to press charges against him. Beth would be charged with aggravated assault. Speaking of Kayce, if you take Mo’s advice and accept the position of state investigator for the Montana Department of Justice, you’ll have an opportunity to communicate more frequently with John, Beth, and Jamie.
