The Rookie Season 5 Episode 3 Plot
Remember here that for most of this series we have seen John Nolan in a place where he is the newbie trying to find a way to make things work in a sea of much more experienced cops bring. However, if we look ahead, we will now see him as the person coaching the rookies. Before this season, John would become a training officer, and with that, we’ll see the show’s core concept pay off in fascinating ways. We’re curious to see what this looks like, especially since we think his methods might be different of many other officers.
He wants to do the right thing to help the city, but will that always be in line with what LAPS wants? We will see. Of course, we envision other stories for Tim, Lucy, and a handful of other characters to come here too: there’s a lot the network is giving us right now. Since we’re so early in the season, we tend to think the writers are preparing a handful of things that will come to fruition later.
The Rookie Season 5 Episode 2 Recap
Nolan and Thorsen answer a welfare call and discover that a police officer has apparently committed suicide. A quick preliminary investigation reveals that the policeman was murdered. Lopez and Bradford take the case and clues lead them to a corrupt gang of cops. Harper, on the other hand, is about to give birth and she and James move into their new home and prepare for a home birth. Harper is tired of giving birth in the hospital after her latest experience.
You have a plan and if complications arise, the hospital is only four minutes away. James thinks he has everything under control, but he’s in for a big surprise when Harper takes an interest in their noisy new neighbors. The new neighbors are not the kind of law-abiding neighbors. It started when they played loud music and Harper was forced to talk to them.
Guns followed, but Smitty emerged when she called the police. Apparently, Smitty, the lazy cop that he is, believed the neighbors when they said they were watching Dirt Harry. as long as his job. Harper doesn’t believe her stupid excuse and continues to watch her from her house. She sees them putting what looks like a human body in the trunk of their car.
He calls Sergeant Wade and asks him to do a background check on his neighbors. The neighbors decide to break into their house and attack them, but they obviously didn’t know who they were dealing with. Harper miraculously shoots the intruder and gives birth to a child at the same time. I know this scene was meant to show that she’s a tough girl, but it was so unrealistic it became funny!
