She wanted to get away from Max. From the moment she entered his life, he was in constant danger. He missed the comforts of home and friends, and for once he might have regretted being an achiever. She jumped out of the car in a desperate attempt to get away from Max. She pointed a gun at him and told him to stop, but nothing could change Owen’s mind.

He had been helping Max the whole time, empathizing with his situation and hoping that one day it would change. But now she knew she could do anything to survive, even if it meant killing the people who cared for her. He walked away from her, realizing that no matter how hard she tried, she couldn’t be saved, and he wasn’t ready to lose himself in the process. Max wanted to shoot Owen, but she was too emotionally attached to him to pull the trigger. Looking for affection and support, Owen called Hannah. Although Max hoped to convince Nichka of his side, it might be too late. Although Karolina shot her mother, we can hope it wasn’t a mortal wound. Max is one of the most important characters in The Recruit, and we can expect him to return to demystify the truth about his daughter’s loss at the hands of the rival gang. Owen finds himself in a mess again and may have to talk his way out of the situation as usual. Even considering that Hannah witnessed the kidnapping, we can hope that help will reach her. It will be crucial for her to have Nichka by her side to function in Belarus. We can expect more from Nichka when The Recruit returns for a second season.
