Maybe it’s because Amazon Prime Video decided to release the first two episodes at once. , or maybe it’s just because House of the Dragon has distracted us all, but it really does feel like this show flew by.
The prequel series was highly anticipated, and the studio must have had a lot of faith in it. considering your insane budget. I must admit that The Rings of Power has had a hard time catching my attention, but I’m happy for the fans who love it! There are definitely some amazing things about it, including how good it looks.
The cinematography is impressive, which makes it almost a shame to watch it on my big-screen TV. The southerners have set a trap for Ostirith and inflicted a significant loss on the orcs. On the other hand, humans head to Hordern to begin the second phase of the battle. Their plans seem to be working well, but the orcs take a page from the Southerners’ book and trick them into killing many of their own. The orcs attack Bronwyn, among others, nearly killing her when Theo gives Adar what she is looking for. Adar sends Waldreg to Ostirith with the key while leading Galadriel and Halbrand. on a futile chase as Númenorian forces join the Confederates in enslaving the Orc army.
Adar notices Galadriel’s obsession, which can lead her even into darkness, and nearly kills him after revealing that he killed Sauron. Meanwhile, the armies celebrate their victory, but their joy ends abruptly when Mount Doom explodes after Waldreg unleashes the waters of the sea into the tunnels. The eruption blankets the Southlands in a veil of fire and smoke, and Galadriel stands on the path of destruction, engulfed in black smoke.
