The Lincoln Lawyer Season 2: Everything you need to know about, renewed or canceled, cast, plot, and release date.
Lincoln’s attorney certainly won’t set the world of legal drama on fire, but Netflix’s 10-episode rampage certainly has enough in the tank to make for an entertaining watch. The sequel got the green light.
The Lincoln Lawyer Season 2 Release Date
Little is known about Season 2 at this point, as Netflix hasn’t greenlit a sequel.
However, the conclusion opens things up for follow-up. If this story is renewed, you can expect the story to add more context to Cisco’s dealings with bikers, Lorna’s law school drama, and the identity of this shadowy man with the forearm tattoo.
If The Lincoln Lawyer is renewed for Season 2, it probably won’t take much time to produce.
The team obviously already has ideas for a second season, so if it’s renewed anytime soon, Netflix could easily stick with one traditional season per year. The Lincoln Lawyer season 2 release date could be as early as May 2023.

The Lincoln Lawyer Season 1 Recap
Mickey says the video Jerry provided as evidence includes footage taken by one of those fellow Nightcrawlers. It shows Wyms being arrested and put in the same police car that Trevor was put in.
The car was never cleaned which is why so many photos were taken. Residues were found on Trevor’s body. Haller even has it examined by a doctor. The episode ends with Trevor insisting on testifying, which puts Haller’s last nail in jeopardy.
Trevor is found not guilty, based primarily on Haller’s closing arguments that Trevor actually only had seven minutes to kill the lovers, dispose of the murder weapon and bloody clothing, and clean up.
However, Cisco discovers that the story about the Russian gangster was a lie. Haller gets it straight: It was Trevor who murdered his wife and her lover and disposed of the evidence by flying a drone out to sea. He admits it, but not Jerry’s murder.
The episode ends with McSweeney hitting Haller on the head. Before McSweeney can kill Haller, the police arrive and he falls to his death in a cannon. Mickey thinks Trevor hired him, but Trevor confirms he wasn’t.
Then, during his company reboot, Trevor is shot by one. Jan Haller’s lover manages to free Jesús Menéndez. This hurts Maggie’s case as the lead officer in her investigation was responsible for intimidating witnesses who put an innocent man in jail.
Now Maggie and Mickey’s newfound romance is over. Haller and Griggs discover that Judge Holder was the one who took the bribe to corrupt the jury. He also re-hired McSweeney to try to kill Haller. Most likely he was the one who killed Jerry. in addition.
The season ends with a man watching Haller surfing from the beach. He has a tattoo similar to the one described by a witness responsible for the murder Menendez was convicted of.
