Tales of the Walking Dead Episode 6 Release Date and Spoilers

Tales of the Walking Dead Episode 6: Release Date, Cast, Spoilers, Promo, Plot, and Everything you need to know.

The problem with apocalypses is that they last forever, and no show encapsulates mankind’s enduring downfall better than The Walking Dead. Ups and downs, but above all, it continues to falter. Tales of the Walking Dead, a six-part anthology of tales from the all-too-familiar universe, is just the latest installment.

The advantage of an anthology is that it can contain all sorts of different tones and points of view, which was cleverly demonstrated in the first installment “Evie/Joe”, a romantic comedy like no other in the franchise.

As subsequent episodes focus on both new and familiar characters, it’s hard to tell what the entire anthology will be like. However, here’s everything we currently know about the latest episode.

This is the sixth and final episode of the first season of Tales of the Walking Dead. “La Doña” was written by Lindsey Villarreal and directed by Deborah Kampmeier. This is both ladies’ first foray into The Walking Dead universe and they’ve done an excellent job with this episode. The episode stars Daniella Pineda as Idalia and Danny Ramirez as Eric. They are a couple who take refuge in the house of La Doña Alma (Julie Carmen).

This episode is a psychological thriller set in an apocalypse. The house begins to haunt the couple, or is it just in their minds? Terrible memories and incomprehensible events begin to affect the couple and strain their relationship.

Tales of the Walking Dead Episode 5 Recap

As David’s memory returns to him bit by bit, we see a strange story unfold before us that only raises more questions. Why would he kill Amanda? Why does she keep saying “Sometimes murder is mercy?” Is that even during the zombie apocalypse? Of course, we can say that David didn’t actually kill anyone, but the townsfolk insist he did.

If we go back to the time David faced off against the angry mob, we see that everyone, including Nora, thinks they killed Amanda AND a bunch of kids. Bulldozer, but manages to escape. At first, he wasn’t sure if this was the point he first escaped as we saw at the beginning of the episode or what.

But we found out it’s not. He eventually tracks down Amanda’s creepy son, Arnauld, and discovers that he has locked Nora’s son (his cousin) in an old cabin. Here we have the traditional explanation of the villain’s entire plan in 2 minutes or less, and Vom sets out to expose Arnauld as the true child killer. “Sometimes murder is mercy,” Arnauld repeats as he explains that killing children was something he did to help them escape this strange post-apocalyptic world.

Overall, I thought this was a really good episode. It was definitely exciting enough to keep me interested and alert throughout the process. Aside from the few oddities I mentioned above, I feel like it was a solid episode going up against Episode 3 (it’s still my favorite). Of course, it makes sense, considering Channing Powell wrote both episodes (and no other).
