Stargirl: Frenemies is the third season of Stargirl on the CW. The series follows a college student named Courtney Whitney and her stepfather, Pat Dugan; who Lead an unlikely band of young heroes to form the first superhero team, the Justice Society of America. Below, we’d like to see comments on what we think of the Season 3 story so far!

Stargirl Season 3 focuses on the return of Starman from the dead, who offers to train Courtney as she adjusts to life in Blue Valley. However, a murder must be solved, forcing our heroes to question the former supervillain’s commitment to reform. Our main characters must also deal with a mystery that will change things forever.

Stargirl Season 3 Episode 3 will be released on Wednesday, September 14th  at 8 pm. m.ET/PT. It will then also be available on The CW’s website as described above. Season 3 is subtitled “Enemy Friends”, and Chapter 3 is called “The Blackmail”. It is expected to be around 45 minutes long, in line with the time frame of the rest of the series.

The opening scene of this episode does an excellent job of locating the suspects in the crime thriller while also showing that The Gambler seemingly legitimately walked away from the crime, making it all the more tragic that he was the victim of the murder. Each member of the JSA has their own idea of ​​killing The Gambler, with very little agreement on who they think, which doesn’t limit the list of suspects. First up is Cindy, who doesn’t immediately trust Yolanda and Rick in any way or form, despite Courtney’s protestations. To be fair, she was found literally standing on the player’s body.

Really, given his distrust of Cindy after what happened, it makes sense. However, seeing Courtney defend Cindy strongly shows how hopeful she is that people can change. However, Cindy has The Gambler’s computer, so it’s possible it was her. Next up is The Shade, which, let’s face it, wouldn’t be careless enough to leave the player’s body in an easy-to-find location. Sylvester, however, lets out his anger and misunderstanding of who these people are and drives The Shade away.

Third, and we don’t get to see much of that in this episode, it’s Crusher. It was made clear that he despises the player and was even there to kill him when he originally returned to town. And then the episode ends on a cliffhanger where Crusher and Paula talk cryptically to each other, which basically means they did it. This obviously feels too easy and is more than likely a red herring, but it definitely feels like preparation for the inevitable drama for the two of them.
