Rick and Morty Season 7 Release Date

Rick and Morty have yet to announce a return date for season 7, but we can definitely expect new episodes to air in 2023. Earlier this year, co-creator Dan Harmon told The Wrap that regular shipments will be arriving annually. now, and even he was shocked by the massive delays that this fandom has gotten used to.” That’s the weirdest thing I’ve ever said about the show, and it still feels unreal to say, but we do one season a year now. I still don’t understand how this is possible. But that’s why it never happened under my watch. [Showrunner] Scott [Marder] is able to keep us on a schedule that’s mostly about getting far enough ahead that we can release things in time for Summer 2023, likely no later than September.

Rick and Morty Season 7 Plot

At the end of the final episode of season six, titled “Rickitional Mortpoons Rickmas Mortcation,” Rick himself teased Morty in a tirade about what comes next: “Rick and Morty season seven. Hunt for my nemesis. Maybe trying to stay sane juggling dishes – not every episode of Morty, it could all be happening in the background – who knows? So that means that “Weird Rick”, the one who killed our Rick’s Diane, will of course reappear as Season 7’s Big Bad. But beyond that? Expect more canon links after season 6 ditches as fans demand more continuity.

If you need proof that Rick has really changed, watch the end of Ricktional Mortpoon’s Rickmas Mortcation. Since Episode 1, Rick has stopped Morty from his true mission to track down Rick Prime. But in the season 6 finale, he changed his mind and lets Morty help him. “I was wrecked chasing him, Morty, but now let’s do it together,” Rick says in a tirade reminiscent of the Season 1 finale, “You and Me.” It will take over your life, Morty. “Rick and Morty, Season 7, Chasing My Nemesis. Maybe I’m trying to stay healthy. Juggle dishes. Not every episode, Morty. It could be happening in the background. Who knows? Nobody but us. you asked for it, Morty. You and me, Morty. So if you were expecting a great season about Rick Prime, it looks like we have it. Cross our fingers. Season 7 is coming soon.

Rick and Morty Season 6 Recap

It wouldn’t be Rick and Morty if it didn’t reboot at the end of the season. Have you noticed that Rick has been extra helpful since Analyze Piss? That’s because he replaced himself with a robot programmed to be 22 percent nicer to Morty and his family. He was the one who actually helped Morty through “Ein Rick in King Mortpoon’s Mort” and is the one who gave Morty his lightsaber in “Ricktional Mortpoon’s Rickmas Mortcation”. Most of the finale followed Morty and the President of (Keith David) as they attempt to retrieve the lightsaber that Morty had dropped before it hit Earth’s core.

At the beginning of this panicked adventure, Morty learned that his grandfather had replaced himself with a robot. After the self-examination that took place in “Analyze Piss,” Rick realized that he had to catch Rick who murdered his wife. and daughter before I can continue. That’s one of the reasons he gave up looking for Morty’s knight. “I have become what I hate.” It’s like a Netflix drama down here,” says Rick. “And I don’t mean a good one by accident. I mean regular Netflix drama. As painful as it was, it wasn’t Morty’s only betrayal. Shortly after the President confiscated Morty’s lightsaber because it was too dangerous, he made the same mistake as our titular teenager. The President dropped the lightsaber and nearly destroyed  Earth again. Instead of trying to recruit the real Rick, Morty teamed up with Robot Rick to take on the President. There was a fight at the Mos Eisley Cantina and a lightsaber shootout, but things went back to normal in the end. There Rick saved Morty, the best robot Rick died and the President was unharmed. But as always with these endings, it’s what happens in the final moments that really set the stage for what’s to come.

Rick and Morty Season 7 Trailer

Until Rick and Morty break their no-time travel rule, we can’t jump to the future and bring you new footage from Season 7. Instead, you’ll have to wait until the summer of 2023, when new promotions are likely to arrive.
