We learn that after Howard was shot, the doctors found a police officer whose bone marrow was a perfect match for Howard’s. And now he’s in remission. After Shannon takes Howard to his home., he tells her that he thinks he got a second chance and wants to make the best of it. Elsewhere, when Kanan returns to South Jamaica, he finds that his mother now runs the neighborhood.

He’s taken over an entire floor of the apartment building they live in, taking the entire operation off the street. Because Marvin was arrested the night Howard was shot, he is forced to attend anger management meetings. His relationship with his daughter, Jukebox, has become almost irreparable, and with good reason. Lou-Lou is frustrated by Famous’s unprofessional behavior. Raq has started pressuring him to focus more on drug dealing, the business that actually makes money.

Then Lou-Lou meets Zisa, a young woman with a great voice, and recruits her to his studio. It is revealed later in the episode that Lou-Lou’s girlfriend Jessica is cheating on him with music producer Crown Camacho. She also intends to move to Los Angeles. After witnesses place him somewhere other than where Howard was shot, Unique is released from police custody. more imaginative and ruthless than him.

Just as the episode ends, Raq is waiting in Baisley Park, the same place where Howard was shot. The latter arrives and the credits start rolling in. It’s still not entirely clear if Howard is telling the truth about his amnesia. Throughout the episode, his actions seem to indicate that he’s remembering what happened.

If that’s true, meeting Raq, the woman whose schemes nearly killed him the last time he was alone in the same park, seems like a bad idea. Not even Howard can be that arrogant. Another possibility is that he doesn’t really remember, and this is part of his attempts to become a better person. He wants to interfere in Kanan’s life; Maybe this time he’s just looking for Raq’s permission with no transactional aspects involved.

However, that seems too idealistic for the “dark” world of “Power”. We meet the man  Kanan becomes, and now it’s pretty easy to see who fueled his evil. But as things stand now, we can’t completely rule out Howard’s involvement in it.
