Let’s be honest, this Paper Girls concert has nothing to do with what we had in our childhood. These days we trade our local newspaper for cash, not all time travel expenses.

While we’re not exactly looking forward to the looming death threats and responsibility of having the fate of the world’s timeline in our hands, Paper Girls season one has been a pretty thrilling ride to the tense cliffhanger ending.

By the end of the season, the girls are separated, scattered across the timeline, with each couple in a different decade. We have a feeling Grandpa will want to fix this by any means necessary. Sound scary?

These adorable and sarcastic tweens are in grave danger. If you’re not quite ready for the end of this epic paper route, you’re in luck. We have the latest details on Season 2 of The Paper Girls.

Paper Girls Season 2 Trailer?

If only we could jump through a crease and land in the future, we would have watched and re-watched the Season 2 trailer more times than Tiffany with her “successful porn” (her words, not ours).

In the absence of those funds, you’ll have to wait patiently for more news as the show has yet to be confirmed for a second season, so filming hasn’t started yet. Stay tuned, we’ll keep you posted.

Paper Girls Cast Hints about Season 2?

While Paper Girls has yet to be renewed for a second season, this finale definitely leaves an unexpected note to close it, and as Jones, Nelet, Roskinsky, and Strazza told ComicBook.com in a recent exclusive interview, they’re excited about the possibilities of season one 2.

“I’m very excited to dive into the characters’ arcs, each of their arcs,” revealed Rosinsky. And get to see more periods. I’m really a fan of time travel and historical plays and I  love watching that. I look forward to it and hope to return to Chicago and explore more here.

See how/if the characters become the future versions that we see on the show,” Strazza reiterated. “And see how they become themselves.” I think so too, just to delve further into their unique arcs,” added Nelet.

“If we do that, hopefully, we’ll get a new season to see how much they’ve grown and how they work together and how much they learned in the first season and how they apply it to the future. I agree,” Jones added.

I’m very excited to see their relationships grow and our characters develop within themselves. “The actresses also spoke about the experience of filming those more conceptual moments in the finale, and how much they reflected the quartet’s journey throughout the first season.

“I thought it was really cool because our set crew built a lot of props and sets and it felt like we were there,” Jones revealed. “Not only have our characters lived it, so have we. And it was great for taking behind-the-scenes photos with it too. Sometimes they’re funny because it’s this more serious accessory, and then we’re  [being silly].

” I think if I just take a snap of one of the last scenes in the finale and then a snap of it like it’s at the beginning of the show, I think it’s actually pretty fun to watch. How did they get there?” suggested Rosinsky. ‘How could they go so wrong? COMMENT: “You had a job: delivering newspapers! repeated Strazza, laughing.

Paper Girls Season 2 Plot?

KJ and Mac are believed to be in the intended timeline, meaning it’s up to them to contact the elder Tiffany to help end the war between The Old Watch and  STF Underground and repair the timeline.

That’s a big responsibility for two 12-year-olds. However, our money lies in them spiraling out of control with a personal mission to keep Mac from getting cancer while also trying to reunite with their stranded friends. Speaking of Erin and Tiffany, who knows what trouble might end up in?

Our theory suggests they’re stuck somewhere between 1974 and 1975. Of course, they will make a valiant attempt to reach the future, but they may inadvertently learn more about what led to the war between The Old Watch and the STF.

As always with these comic book adaptations, there’s source material to draw from. but whether or not the show will stick to its paper origins only The Old Watch knows.

Paper Girls Season 2 Release Date

Paper Girls Season 2 hasn’t been confirmed by Prime Video yet, so we don’t have a confirmed release date yet. If sci-fi gets the green light for season two, we’ll have a long time to wait.

The first season debuted in late July 2022, so it stands to reason that a follow-up season would arrive in mid-summer 2023.

However, her fate for the second season rests in the hands of the audience. If the response to the program is overwhelmingly positive, we’ll likely get more from our bike-time commuters. Watch this space for any updates.

Paper Girls Season 1 Recap

The first season of Paper Girls culminates with the four main characters – Erin Tieng (Riley Lai Nelet), Mac Coyle (Sofia Roskinsky), Tiffany Quilkin (Camryn Jones), and KJ Brandman (Fina Strazza) – being kidnapped by  Old Watch and themselves prepare for it.

Let the memories of your time travel be erased. After leading the quartet to Old Watch’s spaceship, Prioress (Adina Porter)  reveals that she means well by keeping them safe, but thinks it’ll quickly backfire.

Mac and KJ are accidentally sent to the far future in an escape pod, while Erin and Tiffany are sent to the 1950s in a separate pod.
