It has special bath solutions to get rid of them. all those contagious vampire liquids. Bud picks up his daughter Paige and takes her to his ex-wife’s house. Jocelyn Jablonski wasn’t happy with the way Bud was handling things. They had no money to pay their daughter’s school fees. and Bud’s irresponsible attitude didn’t help matters. Jocelyn had started looking for potential buyers because she wanted to sell her house and move to Florida. Bud is not happy with his decision. He didn’t want his daughter to go. He asks Jocelyn for a week. He tells her he’ll fix the tuition somehow.

The total amount was reduced to $10,000. Bud couldn’t believe his ears. How could it be so expensive to raise a girl? She didn’t have a plan of action, but she knew she had to raise so much money or she would have to part with her daughter. Bud knew a person who could give him some money in exchange for the fangs he got after killing those vampires. Troy was an old acquaintance but a shrewd businessman.

He knew Bud wouldn’t go to the Union to sell his tusks, so he negotiated with him and gave him as little as possible. Bud sells his fangs, his Jordans, and even his beloved weapon called the Snake Eyes. After all, Troy was right about everything being for sale if one was desperate enough. Bud left the pawnshop barefoot, but he still wasn’t anywhere near the $10,000 amount. He knew it was time to get in touch with Big John Elliot, or as people affectionately called him, Big J. He texted him and said he needed help. As always, the trusty Big J came to the rescue.

Why Are Vampires Trying to Murder Bud in Day?

There was a syndicate that set the laws for hunting vampires. Everything was legitimate, and there were certain rules and regulations that every hunter had to follow when hunting. Bud was a member of the Syndicate before being expelled for a serious violation of the Codes. Bud badly needed the Union Card.

Vampire fangs could also be sold in Union, and unlike Troy, they always bought them at fair market prices. Bud knew that with a good hunting session he could earn the money he needed to pay for his daughter’s tuition. Big J and Bud met Ralph Seeger, who used to be a colleague of Bud’s but had now worked his way up to a fairly high position in the Union. Ralph questions why he should allow Bud to be part of the Union again when he has evidently shown a lack of respect for their codes and has broken them at his whim and fantasies.

He’d only agreed to the meeting because Big J was involved and a fairly well-respected figure in the fraternity. Big J vouches for Bud at the meeting and tells Seeger that he is a different man. After much deliberation, Ralph Seeger once again allows Bud to be part of the Union, although this time he had certain conditions. He purposely gave Jablonski the day shift. The night shift was an active time when most vampires came out of hiding. He also asked Seth, a Union accountant, to be with Bud at all times. Seth didn’t want to be transferred to fieldwork since he was afraid of facing vampires, but he didn’t have much of a choice.

Valley Realty was owned by Audrey San Fernando. She planned to develop an entire community in the area. Audrey was actually a vampire, but so far, she had covered her tracks well. Audrey had devised some sort of solution to help vampires survive the sun. She was in talks with other ghettos and doing business and making a profit by giving them the same. He went to the house of the old woman who had previously been killed by Bud Jablonski. The old woman was actually Audrey’s 90-year-old daughter. She couldn’t turn her daughter into a vampire in time, and that’s why she turned. old. Now Audrey was after this vampire hunter who had killed her daughter because she was desperate for revenge.

Does Jablonski Save His Family? Is Big J Still Alive or Dead?

Audrey and her assistant used the real estate as a cover to infiltrate the existing vampires in town and turn other humans into vampires. Audrey found out about Troy and went to his pawn shop to inquire about Jablonski’s whereabouts. Troy not. I didn’t tell him anything, so he brutally murdered him. He had placed an informant named Heather next to Jablonski’s house. Bud was taking his daughter to a birthday party when he got a call from Audrey. The vampire had found his family and stopped his wife.

The vampires attacked Bud, but he somehow managed to dodge them and eventually made it to his house. Audrey and her men took Paige and Jocelyn away. Seth had been turned into a vampire by them, but he still had common sense. Suddenly, he attacked Bud, who impulsively knocked him out. He literally lifted his head and tried to glue it to his body. Bud arrived at Heather’s house along with Seth. She told them that she had turned against their will.

Heather gave Seth some blood to drink, which helped him heal his severed head. Heather, Bud, and Seth team up to find Paige and Jocelyn and kill Audrey and her people. They reached the facility where Audrey had held Paige and Jocelyn hostage. They were surrounded by many men who had excess firepower. It seemed like they were going to lose the fight, but just then, the legend appeared on the scene. Big J came with a rotating cannon and killed everyone that was there.

They went to the tunnel in the basement, the same place where they were attacked by more vampires. Big J was bitten by one of them. He knew that in order to keep his friend alive, he had to stay and stop the vampires from following him. He pushed Sprout in and closed the entrance. Big J stood alone facing any vampires that came his way. A bomb was attached to his vest. Big J detonated it, killing the vampires. Bud saw a flash and heard a noise. He thought that his dear friend had sacrificed himself. his life. Bud, Heather, and Seth were all able to kill. Bud used his old wire technique to cut off Audrey’s head. Bud was able to save his family and eventually made it out of the facility alive. Ralph Seeger arrived at the scene hoping to hear from Seth that Bud had cracked the codes so he could fire him again.

But Seth sided with Bud. They exploited loopholes in the legal system and Seeger could not blame them. Bud left happily with his family as he now had the means to pay for Paige’s tuition and also her braces. In the final scene, we see Big J coming out of the sewers. He was quite alive and in good shape. Somehow the legend had survived the explosion. “Day Shift” ends there, giving us hope that we’ll likely see a sequel that would see Big J and Bud Jablonski have another adventure together.
