The invasion has been renewed for its second season on December 8, 2021, but we still don’t know when the season will officially premiere. Invasion Season 2 Plot

During San Diego Comic-Con 2022, Kinberg spoke about the show’s first season and his plans for Invasion’s second season. He said that season 1 of Invasion is the setup of the invasion, while season 2 shows the battle for Earth that Kinberg envisioned for the show. According to Kinberg, the new season begins a few months after the events of the first season, when humanity is already aware of what lies ahead and many countries are already falling. After Season 1 focused on the experiences of survivors from around the world, Season 2 will now take a broader perspective to show how society was affected by the invasion through the characters’ experiences.
