At the end of House of the Dragon Episode 9, Princess Rhaenys Targaryen escaped the clutches of the Greens. Shortly after Viserys’ death, Rhaenys was placed under house arrest until she swore allegiance to Aegon. However, with the help of Ser Erryk  Cargyll, he was able to escape to the Dragon Pit. There he mounted his dragon Medleys and interrupted Aegon’s coronation before flying away from Kings Landing. The House of the Dragon Episode 10 trailer promises the next episode to continue right after, with Rhaenys at Dragonstone,  the seat of House Targaryen, and warning Rhaenyra and Daemon of the Greens usurping the throne. any supporter of your claim. The preparations for defending Rhaenyra, her children, and her claim to the Iron Throne are shown. Voiceover is heard from Daemon exclaiming that Rhaenyra cannot bend the knee to the Hightowers and that stole her birthright.

After this, Rhaenys says that the men around the Painted Table in Dragonstone are telling Rhaenyra to go to war against the Greens, and some of her councilors are telling her to besiege the Red Keep in Kings Landing in the House of the Dragon -Episode 10. This is accompanied by the firing of swords and other stored weapons, which really shows that the blacks are preparing for the war that will come to be known as the Dance of the Dragons. Targaryen, the second son of Alicent and Viserys, removes his eye patch, which he has not been seen without since losing his eye in Episode 7. This is a reference to a major Fire & Blood story element, which is also referenced by other footage in the trailer. Aemond will likely be in Storm’s End when he removes his eye patch. In Fire and Blood, both he and Lucerys Velaryon are sent to Storm’s End on behalf of the Green and Black, respectively, to enlist the support of House Baratheon. House Dragon Episode 10 will likely depict this, with Aemond removing his eyepatch to show Lucerys what he’s done. show Lucerys the episodes of their childhood feud.

Another shot evoking the confrontation between Aemond and Lucerys shows the four Velaryon children, with Jacaerys simply saying to Rhaenyra, “Send us.” This is a reference to the Velaryon Children’s roles during the Dance with the Dragons. After Blood made the boys swear not to join the fight, Rhaenyra allowed the two to act as envoys for the blacks, traveling to Westeros to secure support for House Targaryen, particularly Rhaenyra’s cause. This is what Jacaerys’ line in the House of the Dragon Episode 10 trailer refers to, leading to  Lucerys being sent to Storm’s End along with Aemond for the Greens. One of the events shown in the trailer for Episode 10 of House of the Dragon was foreshadowed in Episode 9 of House of the Dragon. One of the latter’s actions was that the Royal Guard’s twin knights Arryk and Erryk Cargyll were sent in search of Aegon so that he might be crowned king. In their search, the two recognize the cruelty of Aegon Targaryen after visiting places he frequented.

However, Arryk insisted on fulfilling his duty to the king, even going so far as to fight Criston Cole to bring Aegon to Otto Hightower,  Hand of the King. Erryk, on the other hand, left Aegon and helped Rhaenys escape. the Red Keep. Episode 10 of House of the Dragon seems to build on this, showing Erryk swearing allegiance to Rhaenyra in Dragonstone, Viserys’ crown in hand. Dragons against his twin brother. One of the footage from the House of  Dragon Episode 10 trailer shows Lucerys in her role as one of Rhaenyra’s envoys. Young Velaryon flies through a stormy sky on his dragon Arrax. In Fire & Blood, Lucerys’ visit to Storm’s End to enlist the help of Borros Baratheon was depicted during an unrelenting storm. This proves that the House of the Dragon has a reunion of Lucerys and Aemond Targaryen. The trip was awarded to Lucerys as Rhaenyra hoped it would be the safest envoy mission, although neither she nor Lucerys explained Aemonds’ visit to  House Baratheon’s headquarters. The trailer for Episode 10 of House of the Dragon also shows black people preparing for war in other ways and acquiring more dragons. According to Fire & Blood, one of Rhaenyra’s biggest concerns at the start of Dance with the Dragons is the lack of Black Dragon Riders on her side, especially with Vhagar siding with the Green. The House of the Dragon season 1 finale appears to fix this, with the trailer showing Daemon attempting to calm a dragon who may be being ridden by someone on the black side. This dragon is Vermithor, nicknamed Brazen Fury.

Vermithor was the second largest dragon in Westeros at the time of House of the Dragon,  only larger than Vhagar. Vermithor was ridden by King Jaehaerys during his reign before becoming riderless after his death. Vermithor then fled to Dragonstone, where he lived alone. House of the Dragon Episode 10 promises that Daemon will try to ingratiate itself with Vermithor as a potential weapon in the war to come. One thing the House of the Dragon Episode 10 trailer promises as a whole is the true beginning of the dance with the dragons that will engulf Westeros in the flames of war. Since the inception of House of the Dragon, it has been widely known that the show is preparing for the war between the Greens and the Blacks for the Iron Throne. From promises by the blacks to retaliate against Aegon’s coronation to hints that both sides will receive support from the families of Westeros, it’s clear that the Targaryen Civil War dubbed the Dance of the Dragons is finally coming and is shown to begin in episode 10 of the House of Dragons. A trailer filmed for Episode 10 of House of the Dragon is a callback to an earlier episode of the series involving Daemon Targaryen and Otto Hightower.

In House of the Dragon Episode 2, Daemon attempted to marry Mysaria in Dragonstone and stole a dragon egg, prompting Otto to trick some men into looking for the egg. This led to a brief confrontation on the Dragonstone Steps, which Rhaenyra defused. no bloodshed. House of the Dragon Episode 10 promises a second round, with one shot showing an almost identical confrontation on the  Dragonstone levels between Daemon and Otto, whose mutual hatred has been seeded since Episode 1. Unlike House of the Dragon Episode 2, however, this confrontation may end bloodier than the first, with war looming over their heads. The final shot of the House of the Dragon Episode 10 trailer promises to change the course of Westeros forever and fan the flames of war into an all-out conflict. This shot shows Vhagar, Aemond’s dragon, and is associated with his visit to Storm’s End and confrontation with Lucerys. When the season 1 finale allows Storm’s End to be fully visited, this shot of Vhagar in full attack mode conjures up dark things on the horizon for Lucerys Velaryon. In Fire & Blood, the visit to  Storm’s End escalates to Aemond and Vhagar hunting Lucerys and Arrax. The one-eyed prince takes revenge on his nephew and kills both targets. This prompts Rhaenyra and Daemon to seek revenge on one of Aegon’s sons, which really kickstarts Dance with the Dragons, the next season of  House of the Dragons concentrates on the whole.
