Chicago Fire Season 11 Episode 12 Recap

Looks like we’re getting another Stellaride episode this week. However, it’s not like the previous ones, which were about love and wanting to protect each other. No, this week the two seem to be fighting, so much so that it affects both their work and their marriage. Based on the promotional trailer,  they don’t seem to agree on how to proceed with a phone call, and Severide yells at Stella. 

The problem doesn’t seem to end there, however, as Boden sits down and says so they can find out. However, it also seems to haunt the two back home, where they continue to be at odds until Stella considers continuing to work together. Will this couple ever take a break? a roller coaster, and it looks like he’s diving into the not-so-great part of this week. They’ve always been stronger together, so I’m wondering what’s going to happen big enough to change that.

I have a feeling they will make it because they always do, but I hope what happens this week isn’t enough to cause a lasting rift between the two. We need good news from Stellaride, especially after we found out at the end of the last episode that Cindy has lung cancer! Watching Herrmann and Cindy go through this will be painful enough that we don’t have to worry about Stella and Severide going through it too. If those are the two stories this week focuses on, I hope the third is more lighthearted and fun to counteract the sadness and watch people fall apart. Maybe he’ll do some mouch knight Gallo shenanigans. Whatever it is, I just hope that Stella and Severide emerge from this week’s episode stronger than ever, as they usually do.
