It has been 1,183 days since the penultimate episode of Game of Thrones left King’s Landing in ruins and charred flesh. All these months later, HBO’s House of the Dragon returns to the Westeros capital, seemingly rebuilt and thriving. The Targaryens sit on the Iron Throne (which looks even cooler), dragons encircle the city without the citizens flinching in terror, and the 7 Kingdoms once again stand on the brink of a war of succession. While House of the Dragon

is obviously a series of prequels to Game of Thrones, it’s not immediately clear how the prequel is prequel prequel prequel. We are many generations away from Daenerys Targaryen, a presence that looms over the city that has yet to be destroyed.

(Daenerys is a distant descendant of Princess Rhaenyra, whom we see flying over the city on her dragon, an image not dissimilar to Daenerys’s entrance to Kings Landing.) Indeed, the design of the series King’s Landing sequences seems intended to be. Notes on the fate of the capital. There’s a dramatic irony that pervades the opening sequence: final demise is still centuries away.

House of the Dragon Episode 2 Plot

It looks like the fight for the throne has only just begun, but just like Game of Thrones, there’s sure to be plenty of drama, death, and destruction along the way. Here are some predictions of what might happen next: Prince Daemon will be the episode’s “rogue prince”.

There will be more deaths as a result, but perhaps not significant ones. King Viserys I become ill as his back-wound festers. Princess Rhaenyra will share the secret “Song of Ice and Fire” with someone in, maybe Lady Alicent? Princess Rhaenyra also appears to be preparing to take the throne. Apparently, that puts her in great danger. And that makes me wonder if she’ll make it out of the season alive. brings me to the next point. For those who haven’t read the Game of Thrones books, would you have predicted Ned Stark would be dead by the end of season one? Probably not.

So, who will be the great death of House of the Dragon Season 1? I’m just thinking about Princess Rhaenyra. Simply because House of the Dragon appears to be building much of its future. Story (only from what we saw in episode one) on whether Princess Rhaenyra will take the throne. Therefore, no death will be more shocking than hers.
