365 Days 3, also known as The Next 365 Days, is almost here as it arrives on Netflix on August 19th and now we have the trailer to enjoy. The trailer was released on August 8 to foreshadow the end of Laura and Massimo’s story and followed the release of the film’s first four minutes on July 25. That opening confirmed whether or not Laura survived the dramatic finale of 365 Days: This Day. In case you must remember, by the end of the sequel, Laura was photographed by Massimo’s ex-lover Anna, leaving Laura’s fate in the air.

Surely they wouldn’t kill her with a third film down the road? Well, wonder no more as the opening reveals its fate, but if you want to stay spoiler-free we won’t mention it here. However, if you want to know, watch the beginning of the film below: We always knew a third sequel was coming, since in May 2021 Netflix confirmed two sequels for 365 days after the success of the controversial first film.

The two sequels brought back the original creative team who made it such an amazing success that they worked closely with Blanka Lipinska to write the 365 Days book trilogy on which the films are based. So, here’s everything you need to know about The Next 365 Days.

Netflix has confirmed The Next 365 Days is coming Friday, August 19, so mark that date on your calendar now. The second and third films were filmed back-to-back from May to June 2021, which explains the quick turnaround between the sequel and the threesome.

Did Laura end up with Massimo?

In 365 Days: This Day, Massimo and Laura get married and have a torrid honeymoon together, but their relationship falls apart when Laura discovers that Adriano (Massimo’s twin) is having sex with Anna (Massimo’s ex) because she believes Massimo is actually being unfaithful. It turns out Adriano and Anna have this plan to get revenge and Laura is hurt because she thinks Massimo is an unfaithful liar so she leaves her husband which leads Nacho to take her somewhere bring where they could spend time together.

When Laura meets Nacho in 365 Days: This Day, he tells her he’s a gardener, but the mystery man has a secret that Laura later discovers: His full name is Marcelo “Nacho” Matos, and he’s the son of Don Fernando Matos, the boss of a Spanish criminal gang who is a rival of Massimo,  hopes to use Laura as leverage to get Massimo to hand over control of his criminal organization to Adriano. The 365-day films are based on Blanka’s trilogy of erotic novels. Lipinska. The first 365 Days film is based on the first book and the second film is based on his second novel This Day.

Netflix has already confirmed The Next 365 Days, which is expected to be based on Lipińska’s third book of the same name. So, if the third film fits the story of this beat-for-beat novel by being adapted for Netflix, we may now have an answer as to who Laura will end up with at the end of the story. In the novel The Next 365 Days, Laura Loses takes over her company and starts out of friendship by adopting a dog named Prada. However, his romance with Nacho begins to blossom and Massimo begins to lapse into drug use. Laura and Nacho fall in love and a jealous Massimo kills Prada as some kind of angry warning, but later denies doing so.

Massimo then attends Olga and Domenico’s wedding to another woman, which makes Laura jealous and she goes home with Massimo, only to find that he has cheated on her. Laura eventually falls back into Massimo’s clutches and plots her escape, eventually returning to Nacho. Laura and Nacho then get married and are expecting their first child.

So, it looks like Laura and Nacho will end up together, but the third film might surprise us with a different fate if the filmmakers decide to deviate from the third book’s plot. Netflix could also cut the scene where Massimo kills Laura’s dog. in the third movie. Who did Massimo cheat with?

In 365 Days: This Day, after Massimo and Laura get married and spend a torrid honeymoon together, their relationship becomes more complicated when Laura sees Massimo cheating on his ex-Anna during a party. The arrival of Marcelo “Nacho” Matos (Simone Susinna) also complicates things for Laura. Finally, Nacho is the one who comforts Laura after she left Massimo after seeing that painful scene. Laura spends a brief time feeling devastated and heartbroken over what she thinks she witnessed, but it turns out Massimo never betrayed her. it was just a case of mistaken identity. Based on how deep Massimo’s feelings for her are, that’s like saying he would most likely never cheat on her. Viewers can easily infer that Massimo cheated on Laura in the film because the “cheating” scene clearly shows Michele Morrone’s gaze, which turns out to be Massimo’s twin brother, Adriano.

It is revealed that Adriano dislikes his brother’s state of life, and his accomplice is Anna, Massimo’s ex, who is jealous of Laura. Both do not support the relationship between Massimo and Laura, they devise a perfect plan to get revenge. When Laura sees Adriano and Anna have sex, she thinks she’s caught Massimo cheating. Anna finds out towards the end of the film that Massimo has a twin brother, but if she knows the truth, will she change her mind about him in the third film?

Do Laura and Massimo end up together in the third book?

Laura manages to escape from Massimo and goes with Nacho. Out of her ex-partner’s control, she manages to get pregnant. To sum up, Laura and Massimo don’t get together at the end of the trilogy, which has made her fans very angry.

How many movies in 365 Days?

The sequels were titled 365 Days Part 2- and 365-Days Part 3. The second film retitled 365 Days: This Day, premiered on Netflix on April 27, 2022. The third film is scheduled for release on April 19, 2022. August., 2022.

365 Days 3 Plot

According to Digital Spy, Netflix posted a tagline for The Next 365 Days that reads, “Laura and Massimo’s relationship is on the line as they try to overcome trust issues and jealousy while a stubborn Nacho works to break them up.” Based on what happened at the end of the second film, we predict that in the third film, Massimo and Laura will try to rebuild their relationship (if she survives, which is almost certain). At the end of 365 Days: This Day, Adriano revealed to Massimo that Laura was pregnant and had lost the baby.

It will be interesting to see how Massimo handles this revelation. Since the films mostly follow the books, we can also look at the synopsis of the novel Next 365 Days to see what awaits us: As the wife of Don Massimo Torricelli, one of Sicily’s most dangerous mafia bosses, Laura’s life is a rollercoaster ride. He is often in danger, the potential target of Massimo’s renegade enemies, who will stop at nothing to destroy the mighty man.

And when Laura is seriously injured in an attack, is pregnant, and is struggling to survive, Massimo faces the hardest decision of his life. What would his life be like without Laura? Will he be able to raise his son alone? What will be the fate of his family as their 365 days could come to an end? Everything in the synopsis is consistent with what we know about the second film, except for the pregnancy story. That could mean Laura getting pregnant again (perhaps with Nacho’s baby, like in the book) or the movies will just shorten this story.

Fans had a polarizing reaction to the third novel’s plot because it destroyed Massimo and Laura’s relationship. If you look at the reactions on Goodreads, many readers have left scathing reviews. I haven’t read the books, but according to Oprah Daily, the plot involves Massimo sending Laura his dead dog, Massimo kidnapping her again (after she elopes with Nacho), Laura becoming addicted to alcohol, and Laura even needing a heart transplant after a miscarriage.

We’ll have to see if the creative team takes a different direction on the third film than they did on the source material. The heart transplant plot could happen since if you remember, the first movie mentions Laura. having a heart condition. English speakers will be able to read The Next 365 Days in September 2022, when the translated version is expected to be released.
